Is there evidence in the CDC's VAERS database?
Recently on Twitter, Nicki Minaj made the following statement: “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. . . . So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”
“On day three my right testicle began hurting intensely. Like if someone grabbed and yanked on it.” [0947689-1]
Impotence aside, it appears there IS evidence that some men have experienced swelling (and pain) in testicles following COVID-19 vaccination. The evidence is in the CDC’s VAERS database, which you can search by visiting here. Sure the issues seem rare, but they’re there.
My search returned over 175 results (there are probably more), and the descriptions are not pretty. Here are just a few quotes.
“Slight pain in groin area, primarily on left side, left testicle swollen to 3 times normal size.” [0989745-1]
“testicular swelling (orchitis). Persisted for 3 weeks and exacerbated after second vaccine dose and then slowly subsided 3-4 weeks after that.” [1065735-1]
“I had painful swelling of the testicles within the first 24 hours. They were hot, red, very much enlarged and extremely painful. I had a mild fever (99.4) which was about 2 degrees above normal. The selling [sic] has subsided in the second 24 hours and my temperature returned to normal. There is still moderate swelling and sensitivity. I had not seen this reported as a common side effect of the vaccination. I thought it should be reported.” [1055397-1]

“Vaccine #1 received on 2/11. On 2/13 experienced polyarthralgias (wrists, shoulders, knees, ankles, hips), headache, scalp tenderness, and swelling and pain of testes. These had resolved by 3/4, after receipt of ceftriaxone, azithromycin, doxycycline, and ibuprofen. But on 3/10 he developed loss of vision in his right eye and new frontal headache and was referred to Ophthalmology on 3/11 where he was diagnosed with Giant Cell arteritis (GCA) and prescribed corticosteroids.
